What is an experience flight?
A flying experience with SEMET Aviation allows you to take control of a light aircraft soaring through the skies of the South-East of England. On our longer experiences you can make it as far as the coast and marvel at the beauty of the world below! If you opt for one of our larger, four seater aircraft a friend or family member can join you completely FREE* of charge.
* This is at the discretion of the Flight Instructor on the day.
What happens on an experience flight?
A pre flight briefing with your Instructor
A 30, 45 minute or 1 hour flight in our aircraft.
A short de-brief afterwards
We offer free refreshments in our club room and can also provide a video of your experience.
How much does a flight experience cost?

What do I need to know?
Dress for the weather. In light aircraft you will most likely feel the chill in the winter and the heat in the summer. However there is no need to over think it, just make sure you're comfortable and perhaps pop a jumper in the bag too!
Footwear should non heeled and closed toe. Trainers, deck shoes, boots or any other rubber soled shoes are perfect!
Eat and drink sensibly before your flight. There isn't a toilet on board and its not easy to pull over!
Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled flight time. This gives you the chance to grab and tea or coffee and be introduced to your Instructor.
Aviation knowledge is not required. We just ask you arrive ready to fly and keen to see something new!
